Weekend In Rewind

A birthday party, a trip to All Aboard, a sleep over, church, lunch with friends and a lazy Sunday afternoon ending with pizza for dinner and a movie. Life is good.

Done Deal!

This little one is all registered for kindergarten. She is ready to go! She takes kindergarten readiness exams on July 30 at 8:30 am. All I can think is ,"Lord, please do not let me be in labor on that day!" My due date is August 13th and first day of Kindergarten is August 19th. God willing we will have baby Jude all settled at home by then and we won't miss a beat. Please pray it all goes well and according to HIS plan bc I for one will be a nervous wreck! Next up, we have Cheer tryouts and then preschool graduation! Happy Friday!

The Beginning of the End

I believe we have attended six musicals in the last few years at Georgia's preschool.
Well, Thursday night was the first of many lasts. Sniff sniff. No more musicals. We are going to kindergarden! Registration is only 3 days away. We have our birth certificate, shot records, proof of address and recent wellness info at the ready. I however, am NOT ready. She has her last Zoo field trip with preschool this coming week as well and graduation is just around the corner. Ready or not, it's upon us and even though I face this time with such trepidation, I could not be more
excited for the journey she is about to embark on and this Mama knows she is going to be absolutely fabulous.

CFA Year End Party Pics

All good things must come to an end. They laughed and danced and celebrated! What a fun night she had with all her little friends. My fav pic of the night is where you see Shelby blurred giving G her award after her name has been called. The look on her face is priceless and was worth every penny we spent to get her there!

Cheer Force

Oh Cheer you have captured our hearts. We are finished for the year and we have an end of year party tomorrow night! These little Chicks won two National Championships, one competition they couldn't technically win bc our gym hosted but they were high score and we came in 2nd out of 8 teams at our last Nationals in Nashville, TN. She has made such sweet little friends and we will miss them so much next year as they are all older and will move up and G will still be a chick. She was the baby this year but next year she will be one of the oldest! We have traveled a lot and spent so much time together as a family as a result of the trips and made some really great new friends in some of the parents as well.
Even though she is little I can definitely see how cheer is a "lifestyle" and it takes a lot of hard work. She isn't afraid of work. and I love that about her. Love her big heart and love how badly she wants to win....she gets that from her daddy ;)
