Wow. We are having a baby. I think I need a drink...I kid. Sort of. I always kind of saw myself as a one kid kind of girl. I am a self proclaimed control freak and let's face it, one is a lot easier to mind control than two. True story. Jonathon and I have talked about having another baby...well, I guess since always. We always kind of shrugged it off to, "Well, maybe when Georgia starts kindergarten." The time was upon us and we figured now or never. If God decided that was our path, great. If not, then we had been blessed with the most beautiful child in the whole world. I guess he has big plans for us. When Georgia has asked in the past, "When can I have a brother or sister?" Our answer has unanimmously been, "When and if God decides it's time for us." Big emphasis on IF. When we told her, her little face lit up like a light bulb and she said, "Mama, God decided it was time." She is over the moon and she will be such an amazing big sister! She already calls it "our baby." I am nervous and anxious and excited. Mostly, I think about giving Georgia everything she needs and making sure she is happy...bc you know, I need to be in control of her happiness and all :-) I worry aobut loving two and all my Mom friends say, "You just do". I trust that. I have to. In the meantime, I am happy and thankful for a healthy little bean. This pregnancy, so far, has mirrored mine with Georgie Poo. I have only been nauseous a few times and this time there has been Zofran for that. Mostly, I get a little queasy in the car in the afternoon on my longer drives home. We are looking forward to this journey ahead and I can't wait to share this little one with you all just as we have Georgia. I can't wait to have a another sweet little face to chase around with a camera ;-)

The Grand Finale...Well Almost...

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house........................................................................... Christmas Eve was a happening day around here. We exchanged gifts with Mom and Chris, exchanged our family gifts for eachother, baked cookies for Santa, put out reindeer food for the reindeer, tried on a couple of different nightgowns on and pranced around in her new Christmas dress courtesy of Mimi. Also, not to overlooked, her new cheer and tumble mat. She had to take off her pants to tumble so I couldn't put any of the good pics on here. Boo! This night was loads of fun and we moved easily from one activity to another. By the end of the night this Mama was exhausted! It was a wonderful Christmas and while we were all really excited and anxiously awaiting Santa's arrival, I think we were all a little sad knowing Mimi and Papi were leaving the next morning. We had gotten so used to them being here! Christmas is so magical and I always hate to see it end. Thanks be to God for all the blessings he bestowed upon us and all of our families this year. We are truly truly blessed.

A Letter From Snowflake And Frisbee

Georgia wrote a letter to Santa Claus and asked him to lift the elves magic for just a few moments on Christmas Eve so she could hug and kiss them goodbye. Her letter with an answer was received on Christmas Eve. She was soooooo happy but so freaked out and a little scared to hug them after having been told for three years every Christmas that she can't touch them or their magic will go. She finally "air hugged" them good-bye. Mom got it on video and it was so funny. Maybe next year she will be afforded the same opportunity and she will be more willing to take it...for now we will just be glad Santa Claus answered.

Play That Funky Music

Somebody got an Ipod for Christmas! Mom gave it to her early. I think she opened a gift a day for a week and a half. Stinker. She loved it (in case you can't tell from the pics). She is rocking her Hello Kitty earphones and she also got some Minnie Mouse ones so she has a back-up pair. We put some of her favorite songs on there and all ended up discussing how stupid Itunes is bc it won't let you pick and choose from your library...GRRRR! We finally figured it out. This gift was definitely gift success!!!

Since We've No Place To Go...

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it Snow! We had the first snow on Christmas day that this state has seen in 84 years! It was beautiful and we were so thankful we didn't have to worry about work or getting out in it but could just enjoy it. Lots of our friends and family lost power in the storm due to down trees and powerlines but we were lucky and for that I am thankful. I think our final count was just a little over 12 inches! Wowza! I bet we don't have that much snow again for a long time. We loved it and Georgia Poo and her daddy built a snowgirl :-)
