Fun and Fellowship

We had so much fun on Easter Sunday. We were glad we went to church on Friday evening and got to sleep in on Sunday! First, Georgia got to see what all the Easter Bunny had brought her and then we got to have Easter dinner with our family and hunt Easter eggs. Let me just tell you that this child hit bunny pay dirt!!! No child should get this much stuff. Seriously. That was her daddy's doings :-) When she woke up, I asked her if she was ready to see what the Easter Bunny had brought and she said, "No I want to see him, so I can see him hop away." "Sorry little pickle, he's long gone." Georgia-"Ill see him again one Santa!" *big smile*. She is so stinkin' smart!!!

When it was time to find eggs, she was semi-interested but when it was her turn to hide them, she perked right up...she then went and dumped them all in the same spot and yelled for all of us to come find her eggs. BWAH HA HA HA!!! Maybe I should re-think that smart comment? What do you think? :-)

*Paci Update-She took a nap yesterday without incident in her big girl bed sans paci! I was FLOORED! Again, at bedtime she did not want to sleep in her pack and play she wanted to sleep in her own room in her big girl bed again. O-K. So she went to sleep for about 45 minutes then woke up and refused to go back to sleep until one of us went to bed with her. *big sigh*. I folded and went to bed at 8:30. I figured this wasnt a bad trade off for the paci...but we can't do this every night! She is usually such a good going to bed baby! Please pray for our sanity and her peace of mind. I think this is just going to take some MASSIVE getting used to. We were up from 2 to 3:30 a.m. with her fussing but she never asked for her paci. When she would finally stop crying Jonathon asked her what she wanted. The answer wasnt paci she wanted prunes? 3:30 we ate prunes then she layed back down went right to sleep and never made another peep.
