Potty Training Boot Camp

We are one week in and I think she is home free! Last Friday we threw away all the diapers and traded them in for big girl panties. At first she was so trepiditious of the potty and would cry when she would tinkle...I guess it just felt too weird?! She has had one wet accident and a poo accident after a burrito was served at school on Wednesday. The accidents weren't for lack of trying we just weren't fast enough to make it to the potty. At home, she has done AMAZING. School has been a little more difficult but to her credit the only accidents she has had have been outside at recess. Also of note, her first actual poo in the potty took place at her favorite place in the whole world...OUTBACK. HA! We went to the bathroom a total of five times and on the fifth time she was golden. I cannot put into words how proud I am of her and how awesome of a job she is doing. I can also say I am extremely proud of myself and the amount of patience I have been able to show over the last eight days. I am stronger than I ever imagined I could be. I could just cry looking at her little booty in a pair of panties though. So sad. These days go by too quickly. The pic is her in her potty cami and her panties. I don't think I have ever been more proud of anything in my whole life :-)

The quality of these pics is TERRIBLE. I took them all with my phone but they are SO darn cute I had to share. She would have slept in her swimsuit if I had let her!

We made our first trip to Jump Zone a couple of weekends ago for Grayson's birthday party. He turned 4! Somehow, in all the chaos I didnt even get a picture of the birthday boy. The girls had fun but I think they are still a little too young for it :-( They were a little scared of some of the bigger toys and bigger rowdy kids!!!

B and G did it up right on Saturday. They got to go to Disney on Ice and they got to hang out with Uncle Jeremy at the Governor's Mansion and play house in the mini-mansion! They had a ball and it was so fun watching them be so excited. I'm not sure which they liked better! Dinner immediatly followed for two very hungry little girls at Juanita's. Jonathon had an event to go to so we had a girls day with the Roberts then we had a girls night at home alone just hanging out and eating ice cream. Alls well that ends well! Happy MONDAY!

Typically, flying with G is like riding in the car with her...NOT FUN. This trip, however, was actually pretty easy. This is the first time we have flown since she turned two in December so we were required to purchase her own seat. WOW! What a difference it made. She was much more accomodating and easier to please :-). It didnt hurt that she thought she was SUCH THE BIG GIRL. Maybe, now I wont have mini panic attacks before each flight....:-)

Material Girl

So....I think she is giving off a Madonna vibe in these pics. In a "strike a pose" kind of way... Renee and I decided if she just had some jelly bracelets she would be straight out of the 80s!!! HA! LOVE IT!!! And love these pics of her playing Corn Hole(around here we call it Baggo or Bing Bag) and messing around with Mom and baby Cade. Too Cute!!!

We're Ba-ack!!!

We had a ball in ATL and we were sad to come home but we sure did miss her Daddy and Baby Zane while we were gone. We shopped, cooked, ate out, saw Jon Bon, relaxed, played Corn Hole, hung out with the neighbors in Cocktail Cove, had lots of laughs and gave lots of love. Always a pleasure being with the Mama and Papi Chris. I took lots of pics but these are just our first day and evening there. Zack came over to play and she was enamored with him :-). Hope everyone had a great weekend. Now, its back to the grind for me and I have another super busy week ahead. Life is full and busy :-) Enjoy!!!
