A Boo At The Zoo Redo

As promised to one very excited little girl, we did a redo of our busted zoo trip from last weekend. Busted, maybe isnt the right word, but there were no animals so she was sorely disappointed. Truth be told... Jonathon and I were disappointed too! This trip was a raving sucess and the girls had so much fun! Court, Tara, and Tenille were there with their kiddos this time around, so that was an added bonus! Enjoy my crazed picture taking.

Boston and the girls! Ready to hit up the zoo!

These are looks of amazement...or wth?

LUNCH!!!

MONKEY FACE!!!

Checking out the giraffes.

Georgia meets Lauren for the first time :-)

Sweet Baby Boston.

Georgia is watching the Zebras intently...she asked for them all day :-). She only cried when we left the ela-pent though. LOL.

Snacktime. All the babies were such good sharers.

Aunt Court and Georgey

Court, Me, and Georgia. Can we say TIRED? This was the end of our zoo journey.

Everyone sans Tenille. She took the picture. :-( ...And Im not sure how my child ended up being the only one in the picture. I think at this point she only wanted to be carried.

The trip home was a quiet one. They were both out before we left the parking lot!

trick or TREAT?

Georgia loves to give Zaners treats. On Sunday after church, she was devastated when they were all gone. She cried and cried for more treats to give Zane. I'm glad they are such good little friends :-). Oh, and I cannot get enough of this outfit. It tops my list of one of my favs of all time!

BOO AT THE ZOO

On Saturday we loaded up to partake in some Boo At The Zoo fun. Little did we know it would be like going to a Rolling Stones Concert only with little kids, no booze and no good music. Just really really long lines. We waited almost an hour to get in then once in, we realized that you don't actually get to see the animals. BUMMER. They give you tickets to get candy. CANDY?! WTH? Candy?! I can get that at Wal-mart! The lines to get one sad little bite sized snickers were ridiculously long as well. Since we werent too interested in stocking up on sugar,we walked around and looked at the light up pumpkins and Halloween decorations and generally just took a little "midnight" stroll through the zoo. We did get to see an elephant bc some brilliant man had brought a mag light and we happened to be in the same place at the same time. Thank you mister, where ever you are! Georgey was beside herself with excitement! They did have rides, but again the lines were so long and you can't ask an almost two year old to wait an hour for a train-ride. She isnt very patient yet. It got cold fairly quickly so her daddy bundled her up and we headed out. I am glad we went but the nighttime festivities are definitely more for older kiddos. Lesson Learned. I think this Saturday (the rain is supposed to go far far far away) Amanda Rhea and I are going to take the girls back during the day to see the animals. I think that will be WAYYYY more fun!

Rainy Day Blues

Dear Mother Nature,
Georgia doesnt like the rain anymore than her mama does. She cant go outside to play and she has to get all bundled to leave the house, which she is also not a fan of. So, that being said, Rain Rain GO AWAY!! AND DONT COME BACK. Yours Truly, Amanda

Good Will Hunting

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's love child, Good Will Hunting, is possibly one of my favorite movies of all time. So, when Georgia's prize from selling a certain amount for her fundraiser at school was these glasses, that is all I could think of. The scene with Minnie Driver with these on...Anyways, she looks hilarious and I just wanted to share!

Let Me Show You How Its Done

This day was a prime example of our little miss independent. We were hanging out outside...Jonathon was putting his razorback gear on his car and I was filling pumpkins with candy for work the next day. Well needless to say, miss priss had to lend her hand and I think it stressed her out bc she wanted to do both at the same type. Can we say type A? LOL. She definitely get that from her mama and her mimi too. So with a grave dilemma facing her she decided to first assist with the magnets and the car. Then she helped me put candy in the pumpkins. She was sooooo proud of herself. And she even called the hogs for the neighbors!

Rock N Roll 4-EVAH

This is possibly the most "grown up" she has ever looked to me. She is rockin' her new pink leopard print Vans that her Papi Chris and Mimi got her and her big girl blue jeans. I LOVE LOVE LOVE dressing her up everyday. I used to be a shop-a-holic for myself but my closet has slowly dwindled to a sad array of some turtlenecks, a few sweaters, and jeans while her closet overflows with clothes, jackets, and shoes including some that she will probably never even wear. Im glad she is spoiled rotten. I wouldnt have it any other way. :-)
