A note for Uncle Bruce and Uncle Britt

Uncle Bruce:
Just a little note to say I hope you have made it safely to Baghdad. You are in our families thoughts and prayers and here's hoping for another successful and lucrative trip. I promise to keep the pics coming :-) Love you. Looking forward to a phone call soon. XOXO

Uncle Britt:
You all continue to be in my prayers daily. I love you all very much and am so blessed to see the outpouring of love for Aunt Jane on the caring bridge website. We will keep the prayer chain here in Arkansas going. Love you.

Does this diaper make my butt look big?

Tonight I am overcome with love for my friends. How many people can be so lucky to say they have had the same friends for over half of their lives? I can... and that makes me happy. Each and every one of them are so special to me and I love them all even more since G has been born. They all love her so much and that is what makes my appreciation for them grow each and every day. They go out of their way to pick her up from daycare, watch her at a moments notice, tote her from here to there, buy her gifts, and most importantly just shower her with hugs and kisses. What wonderful aunts this baby has. When I was pregnant Amy had a pic of my belly framed and matted and everyone signed it with well wishes for Georgia's upcoming arrival. Jonathon came home that night and he spent the longest time reading each and every note, when he was done he came to me and said "This baby is going to have so many extraordinary women to influence her and guide her. She is going to be so lucky and blessed." He is and was so right. Some of my girls are in Dallas living it up right now without me :-( Some of them are on their way home from my house right now and some of them are fast asleep but you guys know who you are and I love you all. Chic loves you guys too and he tells me all the time how great you are :-) So thanks for all you do. I couldn't and wouldn't want to go through this phase of my life without you. I hope one day G has best friends she can turn to and honestly ask...Does this diaper make my butt look big? XOXO

Tickle Me Georgia

She is so funny! She has started belly laughing out loud when you tickle her. She is ticklish under her chin, her belly and her little legs. It is so cute! I never imagined someones laughs would split my heart right into but oh it does and I love it :-) We had a such a great long weekend and I am SO sad it is over. Jonathon went back to work today and I think Georgia misses him. She has been in a
bad mood ever since he left :-(
We had a big Memorial Day weekend but today is just for relaxing at home. G went to see her Nana on Saturday, we went to a bar-b-q at her Aunt Amanda Rhea's, we went for walks, we hung out outside, Carmen came up and visited for the day so she got to see the boys and hang out with Chloe. Whew! If only every weekend could be this long and this fulfilling. Here's hoping for another one soon.

Coolest Toy Ever

Erica and Brooke got this for Georgia at my shower back in November. Amy and I put it together about a month ago and Georgey's little feet didn't reach the ground and she couldn't even sit up in it without blankets around her. she fits!!! She loves this thing! It plays music it makes honking and beeping noises,it rocks back and forth... all the things a baby finds fascinating I am sure. Thanks Erica and Brooke for many moments of enjoyment for this little baby.

Is it the weekend yet?

Wouldn't it be great to not know the weekend from the work week? Must be so nice being little miss priss :-) She turned 5 months old today and somehow someway we have all survived unscathed. I can't believe how much she has grown in five short months, she is truly growing in leaps and bounds. My granny would have been 75 years old today and I find some peace in the fact that that she and G got to share this day in some small way. It makes me smile. Happy birthday little Georgey Poo, I LOVE YOU!!!

All smiles..

The first pics are after the sunscreen was in her hair....the last ones were before. (I guess I posted them backwards..Oops) She loved being at the pool yesterday :-) We didnt put her and Bella in their swimsuits but they hung out under the covered patio and they were both so good. I dipped Georgey's feet in the water and I dont think she liked it. We will have to work on that, she is my child after all so how could she not love the water....Aunt Amy got her the sweetest life jacket you have EVER seen. I can't wait until she is big enough to wear it! I hope she and B keep it up the rest of the summer and are good girls at the pool! :-)

Zane never leaves this babies side. It is so sweet. He loves her so much and my mother will have a heart attack when she reads this but he loves to lick her in the face and give her kisses. When she sleeps he is never far. I have been so blessed with such a good dog he is our other child. I know our home would not be complete without him.

Thank Goodness its Friday

Oh my gosh, I'm not sure I have ever been more glad it is Friday. What a week! At daycare this week they told me Georgia Grace just smiles all the time and is such a happy baby. I was so PROUD! She even got a smiley face on her send home sheet one day. It is appropriately displayed on the fridge. We are looking forward to a visit from Ike this weekend and gearing up for hopefully some pleasant weather for a change. I am so sick of this rain. Georgia got to wear her big girl leggings today and she looked so sweet. She had a big time hanging out with her daddy too. :-) Jonathon is such a great daddy. I am such a lucky girl and am more in love with him everyday. I was washing bottles tonight after I got home from the play and it hit me that one day in the not so near future I am going to miss the things that I hate so much..(like washing bottles). I know I will be so sad when she doesn't need me to feed her anymore. So for now, I am going to hang on to these days with all my might. I know they will be gone in the blink of an eye.

My Sweet Girl

Georgey- You fill my days and nights with pure joy. Your smile is brighter than sunshine and your laugh sounds like music sent straight from the heavens. When you pout it sends me into fits of laughter and when you sleep you make me appreciate the small things. I love you so much little girl. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite. I'll see you in the morning :-)

Your Day in Amity

Georgia Grace- Today we went to Amity! You had so much fun with Aunt Greta and Uncle Tony. You loved riding on the mule and rolling around in the floor. Compared to our house their living floor is like a gymnasium and you just went from one end to the other. Aunt Greta cooked us dinner (u didn't get to eat any, u had to have formula) and we took Granny some Happy Mothers Day flowers to the cemetery. Mimi had so much fun with you this weekend too. What a great few days we have had. Love you and can't wait to see you on that mule again! We left just in time to beat the storms and headed home. You were so pooped out you went right to bed and didnt even have your night night bottle. We will have to do that more often :-) XOXO

My Buddy and Me

Georgey and B having fun in their jumper thingy and seat....(i still dont know what they are called)...and Georgia throwing a fit. Bella looks like she wishes she could figure out exactly what the problem is in one of these pics, she looks confused. The other is from later that evening after she got her bath. She had a big play date. Amanda Rhea and I wore them out I think.

For those of you who don't live in Conway...
Toad Suck is a time honored tradition here in this town. I had never heard of it before until I moved here...but its kind of a big deal around here. Every year since I have known Jonathon he has taken me and won me a big ole' stuffed animal. This year we couldn't let Georgey miss out on the excitement so we loaded her up and away we went. SHE LOVED IT!!! Daddy won her a pink really plays music and we had the best time. She will have many more toad sucks to come. I can't wait! Jonathon starting putting in the basketball goal this weekend and G and I ambushed him for pics. We even got baby Zane to sit still long enough for a pic!!
